Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Repair Technician to service heavy trucks and keep our fleet safe and reliable.

Shift is 3:00 PM–3:00 AM, Monday–Friday. You will diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance using manuals and diagnostic tools, with potential overtime and advancement opportunities. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, including a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience with vehicle maintenance and repair
• Ability to read repair manuals and wiring diagrams
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety mindset
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles according to schedules and DVIRs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs
• Replace components, fluids, and filters as needed
• Inspect and repair vehicle electrical, air, and brake systems
• Perform roadside repairs when qualified and safe to do so
• Maintain accurate job records and parts usage on company systems
