Job summary

Myndshift Group in Australia is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join an open-cut mining operation at Telfer, Western Australia. You will service and repair a large fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment.

To be successful, you should be trade-qualified as Diesel Fitter or Mobile Plant Technician, with 2 years post-trade experience and Australian working rights. The role offers a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth, long-term opportunities and competitive rates.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Diesel Fitter or Mobile Plant Technician
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
• Experience with heavy mobile mining equipment
• Hold a C Class driver's licence
• Australian working rights
• Able to pass medical, D&A and site onboarding requirements
• Available for a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth

Responsibilities

• Service and repair heavy mobile mining equipment
• Maintain and repair fleet including CAT 793, CAT 785, CAT 988 & 994, D10T/D10T2, CAT 16M, Hitachi EX1900/EX2600, CAT 6060
• Be part of maintenance team at open-cut mining operation

Job description

Myndshift Group supports the mining, civil construction and heavy engineering industries, partnering with leading organisations to deliver experienced personnel across Australia.

We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join an established open-cut mining operation at Telfer, Western Australia .

The Role

You’ll join the maintenance team servicing and repairing a large fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment, including:

• CAT 793 Dump Trucks (Essential)
• CAT 785 Water Trucks
• CAT 988 & 994 Loaders / Komatsu WA1200
• CAT D10T & D10T2 Dozers
• CAT 16M Graders
• Hitachi EX1900 & EX2600 Excavators
• CAT 6060 Excavators

Requirements

• Trade qualified Diesel Fitter / Mobile Plant Technician
• 2 years post-trade experience
• Previous heavy mobile mining equipment experience
• Current C Class driver’s licence
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass medical, D&A and site onboarding requirements
• Available for a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth
