Linder Industrial Machinery Company is seeking a Field Technician/ Diesel Mechanic in West Columbia, SC to diagnose, repair, and maintain construction equipment in the shop and on the job site.

The role involves measuring, ordering parts, completing service reports, and communicating progress to supervision while upholding safety and quality standards; a strong diesel tech background is preferred and a meaningful sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology is preferred.
• Four years of apprenticeship experience or equivalent is expected.

Responsabilités

• Repairs equipment and components, developing a repair plan and sequence.
• Determines necessary parts, materials and tooling.
• Performs repairs safely with quality assurance testing.
• Maintains and completes all service reports for parts ordering and work orders.
• Communicates repair progress to supervisor as required.
• Retrieves and returns parts, materials and tools through company systems.

Formation

Four years Apprenticeship experience
