Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic at our Houston, TX location. You will diagnose and complete less complex repairs to engines at the customer site, perform maintenance using diagnostic tools, and keep detailed service records.

You will maintain tools and pursue ongoing Cummins certifications while following health and safety guidelines. Candidates should have experience with engines, a valid driving permit, and be prepared for on-site work with relocation option.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician preferred.
• Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution.
• Locally valid driving permit.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop.
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
• Maintain own tools.
