Job summary

TriGreen Equipment in Murfreesboro, Tennessee seeks an experienced Diesel Technician to maintain and repair tractors and production agriculture equipment, including combines and planters. You will diagnose diesel engines and service agricultural machinery, working independently as a Service Technician.

Candidates should be familiar with John Deere products, have knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, and be able to lift heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in Ag Tech preferred.
• Experience with diesel-powered farm machinery.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays and varying shifts.
• Knowledge of John Deere equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair outdoor power equipment/agricultural equipment.
• Perform repairs as requested by the Service Manager.
• Prepare reports and forms for work orders.
• Maintain knowledge of John Deere products.
• Operate safely and manage tools/inventory.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
