Job summary

TriGreen Equipment in Franklin, TN seeks an experienced Diesel Technician specializing in tractors, skid steers and farm machinery. You will diagnose and repair diesel-powered equipment with exposure to John Deere products, working independently in a shop environment.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills, the ability to work varying shifts and lift up to 75 pounds. A competitive wage with a monthly bonus is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Ag Tech preferred.
Strong knowledge of diesel-powered farm machinery and equipment.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer use.
Able to lift heavy equipment up to 75 pounds and work variable shifts.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostics and determines repairs for agricultural/outdoor power equipment.
Repairs equipment as requested by Service Manager/Shop Foreman.
Participates in training and completes reports and work orders.
Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and TriGreen products.
Maintains safe operation of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
