Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a skilled equipment technician to perform safe maintenance and repair across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems at customer sites and in shop environments.

You will train junior technicians, ensure accurate work orders, and travel as needed to service rental or customer-owned equipment, while keeping the vehicle clean and professional. A strong mechanical background and customer service focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of equipment repair/maintenance experience.
• Valid driver?s license with clean driving record.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Strong mechanical background and engines knowledge.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safe maintenance and repair of rental equipment across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Assist in training of lower level technicians.
• Maintain paperwork and work orders daily.
• Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance; keep service vehicle clean.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties as needed.
