Job summary

Ag-Pro Companies in the United States seeks a Service Technician to independently diagnose, service and repair complex agricultural and turf equipment. May require some direction from the Service Manager, Service Location Manager, or Shop Foreman.

You will mentor trainees, support customer clinics, ensure accurate documentation of diagnostics and repairs on work orders, and submit information on time. Must have 3+ years of experience, have an adequate toolset, and be able to lift 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing service repairs on heavy equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with John Deere equipment and technology preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs and use standard tools.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associates degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Team player with cooperative work style.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and other technicians.
• Maintains accurate documentation of diagnostics and repairs on work orders and submits information on time.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
