Job summary

Granbury Thompson Group LLC is seeking a shop mechanic to repair trucks, diesel engines, generators, and related equipment. You will collaborate with others, manage parts and tools, and help with occasional fabrication and warehouse duties.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant trade experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass MVR and drug screening. Flexible, safety-conscious teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and relevant trade mechanical experience.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass MVR and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Positive attitude with a proactive approach to getting things done.
• Flexible in an ever-changing environment and able to work individually or in a team.
• Mechanical mindset and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform shop duties and maintain a clean work environment, inside and outside the shop.
• Service equipment.
• Possess and manage tools and parts inventory.
• Use electrical tools, equipment, and safety devices in accordance with policy.
• Travel to other company locations as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
