Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. is seeking a full-time Engine Test Engineer to join our Mossville, IL team. You will execute test plans, set up engines and test cells, and troubleshoot to keep downtime low and productivity high.

The role requires hands-on experience with test setups and data acquisition, plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Collaboration with senior engineers and cross-functional teams is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Comparable background in testing, data analysis, or hands-on experience with large diesel engines is also considered.

Responsibilities

• Support, direct, and mentor test cell operators running engine tests.
• Troubleshoot engine and test cell issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
• Coordinate with facilities, instrumentation, mechanics, and other support teams to resolve issues.
• Document test cell and engine hardware issues.
• Review test plan look-ahead with senior engineers and prepare for engine and test cell setup.
• Attend daily standup meetings with the core team and hand-off meetings for continuous operation.
• Provide updates, participate in troubleshooting discussions, and communicate results to the technical team.
