Job summary

Level Green Landscaping is seeking a large diesel engine mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines across our fleet of heavy equipment. You will work with a collaborative team, perform routine inspections, and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems while keeping detailed service records.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and a proactive approach to learning, with opportunities to advance and contribute to a high-standard service culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of diesel and large engine experience.
• Own your own tools and be able to service various equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ase certification preferred.
• Welding experience is a bonus.
• Willing to work overtime or weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain large diesel engines on trucks and equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Maintain safety standards and clean workspace.
• Keep accurate service records and inventory of parts.
• Assist with minor engine diagnostics on commercial mowers.
