The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Diesel and Construction Equipment Mechanic to keep essential equipment running across Bucks County. This full-time role performs repairs on cars, trucks, tractors, and construction equipment to support transportation operations.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and maintaining accurate equipment records. Valid PA CDL and certification requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Two years of journey level mechanic experience in diagnosis and repair of automobiles, heavy trucks, or construction equipment.
• One year of experience in diagnosis and repair of diesel vehicles or equipment.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training is acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Repair and overhaul cars, trucks, tractors, and construction equipment components.
• Carry out diagnostics, tune-ups, tire changes, and adjustments to major systems for preventative maintenance.
• Complete safety and emissions inspections and prepare documentation.
• Identify mechanical issues and determine repair methods and required parts.
• Maintain a safe work area, follow safety procedures, and report injuries or hazards immediately.
• Maintain accurate equipment records and assist with repairs as needed.
