Job summary

ABC Companies in Faribault, MN, is seeking a Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain motorcoaches and other commercial vehicles, ensuring safe, efficient operations.

The role requires 2–4 years of heavy vehicle repair experience, organizational skills, and EPA refrigerant handling certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire. CDL‑B with passenger endorsement is preferred. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of motorcoach, diesel, or heavy commercial vehicle repair experience preferred.
• Requires good organizational skills to manage multiple projects and time frames.
• Employee must possess the tools necessary to complete assigned responsibilities.
• Previous experience with Body and Frame Repairs.
• Experience with Interior Component repair/replacement.
• EPA certified in Refrigerant handling or able to pass the test within 30 days of being hired.
• CDL Class B with passenger endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains motorcoaches, commercial and non-commercial vehicles, and other vehicles or machines as directed.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment, free from hazards and unnecessary noise which could lead to distractions from the work at hand.
• Understands and adheres to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains compliance with all local, State, and Federal regulations applicable to operations, buildings, grounds, and personnel including EPA, OSHA, and DOT.
• Document all repairs on work orders using shop computers and associated software.
• Accurately maintain and track time and attendance.
• Work to expand knowledge and skill levels needed to perform maintenance and repairs on client and internal vehicles.
• Uphold ABC’s core values at all times with maturity and self-respect.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
