Job summary

Coach USA, Dillon’s Bus Lines, LLC, Hanover, MD, is hiring full-time Diesel Mechanics to support maintenance operations under the Maintenance Manager. Two shifts (2nd or 3rd) are available; compensation ranges from $59,000 for Mechanic C to $65,000–$85,000 for Mechanic A/B, depending on experience.

You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on diesel buses and motor coaches, with opportunities for growth within one of North America's largest privately held transportation

Qualifications

• Formal technical training degree, certificate or diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, walk and sit with lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Certification
• Experience with a toolbox and independent maintenance work in heavy equipment or diesel vehicles.
• CDL preferred
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Diagnose and repair using diagnostic tools; perform preventative maintenance.
• Team-oriented, capable of weekend/holiday work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on diesel buses and motor coaches.
• Perform preventative maintenance and test drives to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
• Maintain electronic maintenance logs and detailed inspection reports.
