Job summary

Quality Truck Care Center, Inc. in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Diesel / Alignment Technician to diagnose, repair, and align heavy trucks. You will work in a clean, modern shop with opportunities for training and career growth.

The role emphasizes mechanical and diagnostic proficiency, safety, and teamwork, with a day shift Monday–Friday and no weekends. A CDL is preferred, and a driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License (CDL preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and perform hands-on tasks safely.
  • Dependable, motivated, and committed to quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Determine mechanical, electrical, or other repair areas to meet customer expectations.
  • Diagnose and repair truck breakdowns.
  • Repair transmission, driveline, and differentials.
  • Perform new vehicle PDIs and inspect for missing/damaged parts.
  • Install accessories such as visors, shields, window chops, chrome parts.
  • Diagnose steering, suspension, and driveline issues; repair components.
  • Perform alignments and wheel balancing.
  • Program vehicle to customer needs and test alignment quality.
  • Complete forms, timecards, and parts requests accurately.
  • Represent the company professionally to customers and coworkers.
  • Perform preventative maintenance per procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean and safe; stay current with technical literature.
