Quality Truck Care Center in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Diesel / Alignment Technician to join a family-owned shop focused on growth, training, and appreciation. The role offers a clean, modern, supportive environment with day shift, 7:00 to 3:30, no weekends, and top wages based on experience.

Our Oshkosh location is expanding, and we’re looking for an Diesel / Alignment Technician who takes pride in their craft and wants to work in a clean, modern, and supportive environment.
Day shift Mon-Fri 7:00 to 3:30 NO WEEKENDS! Top wages based on experience!
Determines necessary mechanical, electrical, or other areas that need repair to meet the customer’s expectations.
Diagnoses and repairs truck breakdowns.
Performs repairs to transmission, driveline, and differentials.
Perform new vehicle PDI’s (pre delivery vehicle inspection). Inspect new vehicles looking for any missing or damaged parts. Check and verify all operations of vehicle components are working as they should. Follow detailed PDI work sheets and fill them out as checks are completed.
Install accessories to vehicles . Such as drop visors, bug shields, window chops, wheel chrome, lighted cab skirts, chrome air intake screens,
Diagnose steering, suspension, and driveline issues as well as repair/replacement of components.
Perform alignments and wheel balancing
Program vehicle for customer needs.
Drives vehicle onto wheel alignment rack and tests for faulty wheel alignments. Inspects for worn and defective components. Installs necessary components for proper alignment.
Places balancing machine up to wheel to determine where counterweights must be added for proper balance. Installs counterweights onto rim.
Correctly completes all forms, timecards, parts requests, or any other documents associated with repairs.
Represents Quality Truck Care Center in a professional manner, remaining friendly and courteous in all customer and coworker interactions.
Performs Preventative Maintenance in accordance with company procedures.
Performs repairs to engine accessory components.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Wears proper personal protective equipment to protect you from injury.
Keeps work areas clean and free of clutter.
Stays current with technical literature.
