Job summary

Marbach America is seeking a production worker for steel rule cutting die manufacturing in Charlotte, NC. You will operate a range of manual and automated equipment and assemble components according to CAD designs.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, maintaining maintenance logs, and supporting multiple production departments while adhering to safety standards and completing paperwork promptly.

Qualifications

  • High School Degree is required.
  • Basic metal working background.
  • Ability to read blueprints and CAD files to assemble custom tools.

General

Manufacturing of steel rule cutting dies produced to specific CAD designs using various types of manual and automated equipment. Assembly of components relevant to the cutting die product lines.

Tasks

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ability to use various types of manual and automated equipment used to manipulate materials specific, not limited to, cutting die products.
  • Ability to use calibration tools to properly ensure machine & tool tolerances.
  • Assembly of proprietary products from pre-cut materials.
  • Ability to read blueprints and CAD files to accurately assemble custom tools.
  • Lifting and handling of wood, metal pieces and tooling.
  • Maintaining equipment preventative maintenance schedule logs.
  • Required to understand and use safety equipment reflective of department.
  • Able to complete and fulfill paperwork required for personal time sheets in a timely manner.
  • Cross-training and support of other production departments.
  • Able to organize assigned tasks, for completion alone or with help.
  • Treat all Marbach information and customer information in a confidential manner.
  • Inform supervisor of problems or issues which affect the companies’ ability to meet customer requirements.
