Job summary

Strattec Security Corporation is seeking a Senior Tooling Engineer - Diecast to support tooling readiness through technical procurement, spare component management, and coordination of internal and external tooling repairs. The role works closely with engineering, toolroom, and production teams to maintain tooling availability, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with tooling design modifications and repairs.
• Strong knowledge of die casting and stamping tooling.
• Experience with CMMS for maintenance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for tooling modifications and improvements.
• Coordinate toolroom and external tooling repairs to minimize downtime.
• Manage spare components inventories and replenishment plans.
• Procure tooling-related materials and services with approved suppliers.
• Maintain tooling maintenance records and CMMS documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to improve tool life and serviceability.
