Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Read work orders or receive oral instructions regarding dies for production runs.
  • Ensure die, stripping, and blanking units are available for the job.
  • Assemble tools for blanking and stripping stations.
  • Inspect repeat tools for defects and report non-conforming dies to the die building team.
  • Fit and assemble parts to repair or modify tools using hand tools.
  • Adjust parts as needed for proper fit.
  • Collaborate with die cutting and die shop leads to keep processes moving efficiently.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

  • Read work order or receive oral instructions regarding dies necessary for production run.

  • Assure that there is a die, stripping, and blanking unit as needed for that particular job.

  • Assemble tools for blanking and stripping stations.

  • Inspect repeat tools for defects and report non-conforming dies to the die building team.

  • Fit and assemble parts to repair or modify tools using hand tools.

  • Adjust parts as needed to properly fit them together.

  • Work closely with die cutting and die shop leads to make certain the process is moving fast and efficiently.

  • Other duties as assigned
