PLASKOLITE is seeking a Die Technician in Zanesville, OH. The role focuses on daily setup of dies and tooling, with emphasis on quality and safety.

You will work with Maintenance and Operations to ensure tooling readiness and continuous improvement in uptime and efficiency. The position demands 5–7 years in tooling or die maintenance, proficient reading of drawings, and hands-on skills with mills, lathes, grinders, and welding.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate, vocational training, or coursework in tooling, machining, maintenance, manufacturing technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in tooling, die/mold maintenance, or a related manufacturing role; plastics/extrusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble plastic extrusion dies and tooling to support production.
• Install and set up grinder blades and shredder teeth.
• Train Maintenance personnel on tooling assembly and cleaning.
• Operate mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
• Interpret drawings and specs to ensure tooling accuracy.
• Inspect machined components with precision instruments to maintain tolerance.
