Job summary

WMFHA is seeking qualified die maintenance technicians in Springfield, OH to maintain and repair mass production tooling. Shifts include 2nd and 3rd with hours from 2:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Candidates must read mechanical drawings, work safely, and be able to pass written and hands-on tests. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a 2-year Tool & Die Tech degree with 2 years of on-the-job experience, crane experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 year degree in Tool and Die Technology with 2 years of on-the-job experience.
• Documented die maintenance experience in an automotive metal stamping facility preferred (no degree).
• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office a plus but not required.
• Must pass written test; hands-on test after.
• Crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Basic Operating Procedures.
• Repair progressive and transfer tooling.
• Weld and repair tool steels.
• Hand grinding.
• Support mass production.
