Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is seeking a Die Technician on 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 3:00pm–1:30am) to perform machining and die work supporting Vishay’s production processes. Overtime is available as needed.

You will operate machining equipment, troubleshoot tooling, and ensure tolerances are met. Applicants should have technical certification or 1–3 years machinist experience, basic arithmetic skills, and prior production exposure.

Qualifications

• Technical Certification and/or 1 to 3 years machinist experience.
• Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic calculations.
• Prior production experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operates machine tool equipment (lathes, drill presses, milling machines, surface grinders) to produce tooling fixtures.
• Troubleshoots and changes tooling in precision stamping dies as needed.
• Checks and inspects machining operations against tolerances.
• Makes adjustments or repairs to equipment as necessary.
• Identifies specification, equipment, or material shortcomings to Supervisor or Lead-person.
• Performs other tasks as directed from the Supervisor.

Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Die Technician on 2nd shift (Monday – Thursday, 3:00pm – 1:30am). Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for performing machining and die work to help enhance and enable the production processes for Vishay.

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.

What you will be doing:

• Operates all types of machine tool equipment such as lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and surface grinders to produce tooling fixtures.
• Troubleshoots and changes out tooling in precision stamping dies as needed.
