Job Description

Position: 2nd Shift - 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm with paid lunch

Title: Die Set-up Operator

Reports To: Tooling Supervisor

Responsibilities:

1. Locate and assemble components based on FR and QEI/PEI instructions.
2. Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 6S standards and replenish inventory at shift end.
3. Restock shelves when components are available.
4. Place components in designated areas.
5. Transport carts to and from the injection queue area.
6. Stage full carts at designated cells.
7. Inspect component quality, discard unacceptable parts.
8. Remove flash and repair small wax deformations on components.
9. Work safely at all times.
10. Access AQCS and locate instructions properly.
11. Complete accurate timesheets and inventory records.

Principal Area of Responsibility:

Assemble and repair components for usability, maintain a clean workspace, and organize components and carts appropriately.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Ability to lift and move injected materials and carts.
• Understanding of component setup processes.
• Effective communication with leads.
