Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of die setter experience with press break equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (scales, micrometers, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Set dies into power presses for maximum efficiency, quality and safety.
• Obtain supplies and position work per instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Set up hand tooling and dies on press breaks and other presses.
• Instruct operators in safe operating methods.
• Ensure first piece inspection and evaluate last piece for issues.
• Maintain safe, organized work areas and proper equipment care.
