Job summary

Thai Summit America Corporation in Howell, MI is seeking an entry‑level press/ tooling operator with a strong work ethic. You will Set presses with dies and automation tooling, load dies, assist in building tooling, and support safety and TPM initiatives.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year in manufacturing, and basic quality and ERP knowledge. You’ll operate cranes/fork trucks when licensed, maintain paperwork, and contribute to a safe, efficient production line.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• One year of Press Operation experience preferred.
• General knowledge of quality systems.
• Able to identify sheet metal/aluminum defects.
• Basic knowledge using an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Set presses with dies and automation tooling.
• Load stamping dies onto press bolsters.
• Assist in building automation tooling.
• Offload coils from semi-trucks with coil grabber.
• Load aluminum/steel coils onto press lines.
• Maintain proper paperwork (CRRF, check-sheets, scrap records, coil tracking).
• Crane/Fork Truck inspection (licenses required).
• Maintain die storage areas and clean scrap basement.
