Job summary

Magna International Limited is hiring for a manufacturing associate focused on die set handling and material movement. You will operate overhead cranes to move die sets, schedule staging across lines, and maintain PM-driven processes in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires 3–6 months in manufacturing, a valid forklift license, and the ability to use SAP for scheduling. The position is based on site in South Carolina with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months of manufacturing experience and/or training.
• Valid forklift license and 6 months driving it safely with no incidents.
• Ability to review schedules using SAP.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and move die sets using overhead cranes, performing daily safety checks.
• Coordinate die scheduling, staging, and movement between press lines to support production and changeovers.
• Pre-stage, flip, wash, and maintain die sets in tool rooms per PM, build, and production schedules.
• Return die sets to correct storage locations and support organized die storage areas.
• Communicate needed repairs or die issues promptly to supervisors and support teams.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards and perform other duties as assigned.

• Communicate needed repairs or die issues promptly to supervisors and support teams.

• Three to six months manufacturing experience and/or training.
• Must have valid Fork truck license and 6 months of experience driving it safely with no incidents or occurrences.
