Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a tooling operator to perform duties using the company computer system and coordinate with the scheduler or supervisor to set priorities. You will obtain tooling job packets, measure dies, and adjust press shut height as needed for wear.

You will verify heat code and part numbers, file paperwork, repair and change tooling, disshim dies, and disassemble completed jobs. Maintain a clean, safe workspace and meet required quantity and quality levels while following all safety

Responsibilities

• Obtain the tooling job packet from the bench
• Measure dies and stack dies to print or press shut height if adjustment is needed due to press wear
• Verify heat code and part number in tooling according to the shop order
• File appropriate paperwork in press file
• Repair and change tooling as needed by production
• Reshim dies as needed by production
• Disassemble jobs that have completed production runs
• Keep work area neat, clean and organized
• Maintain required quantity and quality levels
• Follow all safety regulations
• Operate Company computer system
