Job summary

Digital Tool & Die in Grandville, MI seeks a skilled tool and die operator to try-out and tune stamping dies, assemble dies on the bench, and safely operate presses and related equipment. The role ensures quality and on-time delivery, collaborates with engineering and quality teams, and mentors apprentices.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating surface grinders, drill presses, milling machines, forklifts and overhead cranes, using precision measuring tools, and managing multiple

Responsibilities

• Try-out and tune sheet metal stamping dies.
• Assemble dies on the bench.
• Safely operate presses, press feeder equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes, surface grinders and other machine tools.
• Ensure quality and on-time delivery of new tool build projects.
• Communicate effectively with engineering and quality teams during troubleshooting.
• Mentor apprentices on how dies are built and function.
