Job summary

Stafford Cutting Dies in Indian Trail, NC is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate – Steel Rule Die Maker with paid on-the-job training. No experience? We’ll train you and pay you while you learn.

The role includes cutting, bending, and installing steel rule into die boards, plus building and repairing dies to customer specifications. You’ll inspect your work for quality and maintain a safe workspace. Starting wage is $18–$20/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Comfortable using tools or eager to learn.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32".
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to work.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 65 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, and install steel rule into die boards
• Assist with building and repairing dies to customer specifications
• Inspect your own work for quality and accuracy
• Support production teams and maintain a clean, safe workspace
