Job summary

Digital Tool & Die, Inc. in Grandville, MI is seeking a hands-on machinist/dies assembler to support tool and die manufacturing. You will try-out and tune sheet metal stamping dies, assist in bench assembly, and safely operate presses and related equipment.

The role emphasizes quality and on-time delivery, teamwork with engineering and quality, and mentoring apprentices. The position offers a 4-day work week, night shift Mon-Thu 4:15 PM–3:45 AM with a $3/hr premium, and benefits including 401K

Responsibilities

We specialize in designing and fabricating world-class sheet metal stamping dies, roll forming, fixtures, fabrication, and special applications to meet the industrial needs for automotive, furniture, prototyping, applicance, and U.S. Military

• Responsible for quality and on time delivery of new tool build projects.
• Effectively communicate with engineering and quality team members when trouble shooting.
• Help train and mentor apprentices on how dies are built and supposed to function.

What We Offer
