Job summary

fullcircle is seeking a Die Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production dies used in manufacturing operations. This day shift role may require occasional Saturday to support uptime and quality standards.

The technician will inspect and repair dies, perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and document all activities. Strong mechanical skills and clear communication with production and engineering teams are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in die maintenance, tool and die repair, industrial maintenance, machining, or related manufacturing role.
• Experience troubleshooting tooling, dies, fixtures, or production equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, clean, repair, and adjust production dies to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot die-related issues affecting part quality and production flow.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance on dies and related equipment.
• Respond to die issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Identify worn or out-of-spec components and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Make adjustments to improve die performance and efficiency.
• Use precision measuring tools and shop equipment for repairs and adjustments.
• Support root cause analysis for recurring die issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance and improvements.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
