Job summary

Ms Companies, LLC in Springfield, OH is seeking qualified Die Maintenance Technicians to join our tier-one automotive stamping and assembly operation. You will maintain mass production tooling, support day-to-day equipment reliability, and contribute to a stable, growth-oriented manufacturing environment.

This full-time role offers 2nd and 3rd shifts with overtime, competitive $25–$38 per hour pay, shift premium, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
2-year degree in Tool and Die Technology plus 2 years of on-the-job experience, or documented die maintenance experience in lieu of a degree.
Ability to read mechanical drawings.
Crane experience.
Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends.
Stable work history with good attendance.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Must pass a written qualifications test, followed by a hands-on skills test upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

Follow standard operating procedures for die maintenance and safety.
Repair and maintain progressive and transfer tooling used in mass production stamping.
Weld and repair tool steels.
Perform hand grinding on dies and tooling components.
Support mass production by keeping tooling in efficient working condition.
