Job summary

Seneca Resources in Madison, Alabama, is seeking a Die Maintenance Team Member for a full-time role. You will perform die maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair to ensure the highest quality standards in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

You will operate milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and cranes, read blueprints, and maintain tooling while following safety and continuous improvement practices. Expect rotating shifts and possible overtime.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-year associate degree, Journeyman cert, or 4 years related work experience.
• Experience in tool and die maintenance and die tooling repair.
• Proficient in machining and welding equipment operation.
• Strong blueprint reading and mechanical aptitude.
• Able to lift up to 33 lbs and work in a noisy manufacturing environment.

Position Description

Join a dynamic team in Madison, Alabama, as a Die Maintenance Team Member supporting innovative automotive manufacturing. In this full-time role, you will be integral to the production process, performing die maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to ensure the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities include operating machining and welding equipment, interpreting blueprints and technical instructions, and maintaining die tooling. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that values safety, precision, and continuous improvement. Candidates should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying solutions to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime is essential.

Top Requirements:

• 2-year associate degree in a related field, Journeyman certification, or 4 years of equivalent work experience/training
• Experience in tool and die maintenance, troubleshooting, and die tooling repair
• Proficiency in operating machining and welding equipment, including milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and cranes/hoists
• Strong blueprint reading skills and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to interpret specifications and measure die parts accurately
• Ability to lift up to 33 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate a manufacturing environment with high noise levels
