Job summary

Fukai-Toyotetsu-Indiana-Corporation---Ftic in Indiana seeks a skilled machinist/toolmaker to interpret prints and specifications, operate milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders, and assemble or disassemble dies to design specs. The role includes welding, measuring with metric scales, and fabricating parts as needed.

Candidates should have a college/technical certification or two years of related experience, and be able to read drawings and manuals.

Qualifications

• Related certification from college or technical school, or two (2) years experience and high school diploma or G.E.D., or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of machining and tool making equipment (lathes, end mills, surface grinders, welders, etc.).
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings, informal sketches and notes.
• Able to read and interpret operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities
