• 8 years of die experience in stamping environment preferred.

Job description

The Die Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the direct workforce along with maintenance, die tryout, and repair of major stamping dies including sub-assembly, progressive, and/or blanking dies. The Die Maintenance Supervisor will supervise UAW skilled trade employees and assist in team building. The role will manage collaborative working relationships with all levels of management and union, resolve problems using root cause analysis, and plan and prioritize work to support efficient manufacturing initiatives.

Basic Qualification:

1. Bachelor's degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred) or Journeyman status Die Maker or 8 years die experience in a stamping environment, with die construction, tryout, and/or maintenance work activities.
2. Ability to work any shift and work overtime as required.

Preferred Qualification:

1. Hemmer experience a plus; root cause analysis skills.
2. Supervisory experience in a union environment.
