Greenville Tool & Die is seeking a Die Designer to develop and detail stamping die designs (progressive, transfer, line) for sheet metal parts. You will create accurate 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software, ensuring designs meet customer specs and formability requirements.
The role collaborates with simulation, engineering, and toolroom teams, interpreting customer prints to determine the best construction approach and applying die standards and safety features in every design.
Shift: Night Shift - this will include a shift premium in addition to the base wage
The Die Designer is responsible for developing and detailing die designs used in the manufacture of sheet metal stamping dies. This role creates accurate 3D models and 2D drawings for blanking, progressive, transfer, and line dies using CAD software, ensuring that designs meet customer specifications, manufacturing standards, and formability requirements.
Manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
