Job summary

Vista Color in Miami, FL, is seeking a Die Cutter Trainee to manufacture steel rule cutting dies based on CAD designs and assemble tool components. The role uses a mix of manual and automated equipment within the Die Making department.

You will read die prints and CAD files, lift and handle components, and help maintain department equipment while following safety protocols. This position supports cross‑training and collaboration across production teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate various manual and automated equipment to manipulate materials.

• Cross‑train and support other production departments.
• Organize assigned tasks for completion alone or with help.

Job Summary

Manufacturing of steel rule cutting dies produced to specific CAD designs using various types of manual and automated equipment. Assembly of components relevant to the cutting die product lines.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ability to use various types of manual and automated equipment used to manipulate materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and CAD files to accurately assemble custom tools.
• Lifting and handling of wood, metal pieces and tooling.
• Clean & maintain department equipment.
• Required to understand and use safety equipment reflective of department.
• Cross‑training and support of other production departments.
• Able to organize assigned tasks for completion alone or with help.

Physical Requirements
