Job summary

Millennium Print Group is seeking a Die Cutter Operator for the night shift in Morrisville, NC. You will adjust, maintain, and safely operate a Bobst/Die Cutting Machine to meet customer specs and production goals.

Responsibilities

• Review job tickets and prepare machine and supplies for each job.
• Set up Bobst/Die Cutting Machine to specified speeds and production rates with supervisor approval.
• Operate machine to run products as indicated and ensure correctness of operation.
• Test samples for paper properties before production.
• Inspect skids and documentation for accuracy during production.
• Inspect machine for safety issues and request maintenance as needed.
• Keep machinery clean and maintain records in Job Jacket and Die Cutter Tracking Form.
• Complete Bindery Log and Die Cutter Tracking Form.

Die Cutter Operator-Nights

We're looking for Die Cutter Operators to join our team. In this role, candidates will adjust, maintain, and safely operate a Bobst/Die Cutting Machine, ensuring that all items produced meet customer specifications in accordance with company policies and procedures. What You Will Do

• Review and understand Job Ticket details and specifications to prepare the machine and supplies for each job properly
• Understand process setup, adjustment, procedures, and equipment capabilities to operate machine with excellence
• Set up Bobst / Die Cutting Machine to specified speeds and production rates and get approval of set-up by Supervisor
• Operate Bobst / Die Cutting Machine to run the product indicated, ensuring correctness of operation
• Test sample for correct paper proprieties and characteristics before production
• Compare production output to sample provided to evaluate accuracy of operation throughout production
• Inspect output skids for cutting, score, and die positions and ensure proper documentation and records on skids and within Job Jacket
• Inspect and monitor Bobst / Die Cutting Machine for safety issues and request maintenance as needed
• Clean and maintain machinery and equipment to guarantee quality performance
• Complete Bindery Log
• Complete Die Cutter Tracking Form
• Record and document all required process information
• Ensure that working environment is clean, tidy, and safe
• Comply with the company’s safety standards
• Follow procedures and policies while demonstrating commitment to the company
• Fulfill other tasks assigned that are related to the overall objective of the position

What You Will Bring
