Job summary

A large printing and packaging company in Philadelphia is looking for experienced Die Cutter Operators to join their team. The role involves ensuring quality production, assisting with machine operations, and maintaining production records. Candidates should have basic math skills and preferably a working knowledge of cutting presses. This is a full-time position offering $25 to $31 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Prefer working knowledge of cutting press.

Responsibilities

• Work with the operator to ensure quality cartons are produced safely.
• Adjust the press for new product sheets being cut.
• Assist with loading dies into the cutting press.
• Inspect quality of each load run.
• Flag and isolate poorly produced materials.
• Make proper corrections before continuing the order.
• Remove cut loads from press using a hand truck.
• Maintain written records of production.

Skills

Ability to read, understand, and follow job jacket instructions
