Summary/Objective:

Perform journey-level skilled work in the setup, operation, and maintenance of die cut equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Set up, operate all die cut equipment
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance
• Match sample to die cut piece
• Maintain quality and productivity
• Report unsafe conditions
• Train apprentices and entry-level staff as needed

Competencies:

• Operate die cut machines including scoring, die cutting, perforating, kiss cutting on various substrates
• Ability to read job tickets and schedules; good math skills
• Effective communication with team and clients
• Foil stamping experience is a plus

Required Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED
• 3+ years of die cut machine setup and operation experience

Work Environment:

Fast-paced production setting, exposure to fumes, mechanical parts, vibration, and noise.

Physical Demands:

Stand for full shifts, handle objects, reach, communicate, occasionally climb stairs, lift up to 20 pounds, and have good vision abilities.

Position Type/Hours:

Full-time, 40 hours/week, with potential overtime.
