Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of complete die-cutting make-ready procedures.
• Experience with stripping and blanking operations.
• Mechanical aptitude with equipment troubleshooting skills.
• Lead, train, or mentor others is preferred.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple production departments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flatbed die-cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform complete machine make-readies for production runs.
• Set up and run stripping and blanking operations.
• Monitor product quality, registration, and machine performance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to minimize downtime.
• Adjust processes to maintain specifications and quality.
• Identify opportunities to reduce make-ready times and waste.
• Monitor material usage and minimize waste.
• Train and mentor assistant operators.
• Coordinate production with Press, Gluing, and Shipping departments.
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain equipment reliability.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
