Smurfit Westrock in Kentucky is seeking an Order Readiness associate to ensure machinery runs smoothly by preparing, delivering, and removing all tooling materials needed at the machines.
You will verify tooling against CAD drawings, coordinate ink, setup dies and plates, maintain inventory, and help keep the shop safe and clean; overtime required.

The Order Readiness position is responsible for ensuring the efficient productivity of manufacturing by preparing, delivering, and removing all needed tooling materials to machines throughout the plant.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

High school diploma or GED minimum.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. May require the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. May require the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient Microsoft Office computer skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel.
The Order Readiness position must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. They must possess strong motivation, good judgment, and a sense of urgency. Prior Die experience helpful.
The starting rate is $24.43 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentives, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 10 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
