Job summary

Oliver Inc. is expanding its die-cutting operations and seeks a skilled die-cutting operator to set up, fine-tune, and run converting equipment with confidence. You will verify samples, adjust tooling on the fly, and ensure every sheet meets spec in a fast-moving production environment.

Experience with steel rule dies and CAD dielines is required; lifting 50+ lbs and maintaining safety are essential in this role at our modern, well-maintained facility.

Qualifications

• Background as a Die Cutting Operator/Pressman in printing, packaging, or folding cartons.
• Proficiency with steel rule dies, counter plates, make-ready materials, and stripping/blanking tools.
• Ability to interpret job tickets, dielines, CAD layouts, and quality criteria.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end machine setup for die cutting, including stripping and blanking.
• Execute precise make-readies and pull verification samples.
• Monitor runs, adjust tooling and settings, safeguard total job quality.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Model safe work practices and collaborate with teammates in a fast-moving environment.
