LMI Packaging, based in Wisconsin, is seeking a Die Cut Operator to set up and run die-cut equipment, following pre-production, make ready and production tasks to ensure accurate orders and precise cuts. You will stage finished work, maintain a clean work area, and use the scanning system to document labor and downtime while supporting overall production efficiency.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Die Cut Operator sets-up and operates machines that die-cut pre-printed stock. Follows Pre-production, make ready, and production run tasks. Operates powered equipment. Responsible for accuracy and completeness of orders, dies, set-up and installation, stock, load and feed of material and accuracy of cutting. Stages completed work per instructions and maintains the work area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to perform die cut daily duties which includes, but not limited to, being able to setup the die cut scale, retrieve and return tubes and boxes, pull lids, put rolls on and off machines, and adjust die cut registration.
• Complete in-process inspections, follows work instructions and controls die cut quality.
• Complete simple math equations and completely and accurately fill out skid tags, daily paperwork and material return tags.
• Uses scanning system to document all labor and downtime.
