Job summary

Rightway Fasteners, Inc. in Columbus, Indiana is seeking a detail-oriented die/tooling coordinator responsible for die control, tooling inventory, and continuous process improvements in the tooling and die area.

This role supports efficient manufacturing and requires accurate record-keeping and strong coordination with suppliers. You will unpack, inspect and tag tooling, monitor tool life, coordinate with local die vendors for quotes and orders, and ensure daily coil tagging and delivery while

Responsibilities

• Unpack and inspect all tooling on arrival.
• Check tool life and maintain records.
• Maintain and update tooling drawings as needed.
• Coordinate quotes and orders with local die vendors.
• Track tooling inventory and purchase orders.
• Tag coils and deliver daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Make improvements in methods of die control within the department. Take care of all tooling movement. Tag and deliver coils daily. Other duties as required.Tasks and Responsibilities:Unpacking and inspecting all tooling upon arrival.Checking tool life for all tooling and keeping appropriate records.Maintain all tooling drawings as needed.Work with local die vendors for quoting and ordering.Support weekly order for tooling.Monitor all aspects of tooling inventory.Track purchase orders and make changes and adjustments as needed.Maintain a die address list for all tooling.Coil tagging and delivery.Other duties as assigned.Skills and Abilities:Good communication skills.Some computer skills.Excellent organization skills.An understanding of how to read tooling drawings.Highly motivated work ethic and positive attitude.Forklift capable.Education and Experience:Inventory control experience desirable.
