Rightway Fasteners, Inc. in Columbus, IN is seeking a Die Tooling & Inventory Technician responsible for die control, tooling movement, and coil tagging. You will ensure accurate tooling records, coordinate with local vendors, and support weekly tooling orders.

The role requires reading tooling drawings, strong organization, and forklift capability. This position supports production needs with on-site tooling management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Unpacking and inspecting all tooling upon arrival.
• Checking tool life for all tooling and keeping appropriate records.
• Maintain all tooling drawings as needed.
• Work with local die vendors for quoting and ordering.
• Support weekly order for tooling.
• Monitor all aspects of tooling inventory.
• Track purchase orders and make changes and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a die address list for all tooling.
• Coil tagging and delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary And Primary Objectives

Maintain company objectives for die control with the use of inventory and ordering skills. Make improvements in methods of die control within the department. Take care of all tooling movement. Tag and deliver coils daily. Other duties as required.
