Job summary
Humanscale is seeking a Die Casting Tool Room Technician to support Advanced Die Casting, LLC in Nogales, AZ. You will prepare, maintain, and repair production molds, perform preventive maintenance, and assist during mold changes to keep production on schedule.
Ideal candidates have an engineering/technical background, 5+ years in die casting, bilingual English/Spanish, and hands-on experience with fixtures, molds, tooling, and SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.
Qualifications
- Industrial Engineering or related degree or equivalent experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- 5+ years in die casting or related manufacturing.
- Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt preferred.
- Experience with fixtures, injection molds, tooling, dies.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate daily production plans for readiness.
- Prepare mold components to support timely production.
- Perform preventive maintenance on molds.
- Inspect and analyze reported mold issues during production.
- Support mold assembly, changeovers and start-ups.
- Document quality issues and support corrective actions.
- Implement 5S and waste reduction initiatives.
- Participate in continuous improvement events.
