Job summary

Aisin Automotive Casting Tennessee, Inc. in Clinton, TN, is seeking a Process Engineer to improve, optimize, and sustain aluminum die casting manufacturing processes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, yield, and efficiency while implementing new technologies and best practices. The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, process design and continuous improvement, with hands-on responsibility for tooling, laser marking, deburring, trimming, and quality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4–6 years of related experience, HS Diploma or GED acceptable.
  • 3+ years in aluminum die casting or metal casting manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot aluminum die casting processes to improve quality, yield, and cycle time.
  • Maintain dies, tooling, and equipment; collaborate with toolmakers and maintenance teams.
  • Oversee laser marking and 2D matrix code traceability.
  • Improve auto deburring, trim pressing, and distortion monitoring processes.
  • Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Document process changes, SOPs, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with production, QA, and R&D to align maintenance and manufacturing.
