Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Machine Operator based out of their Elgin IL facility. They are a global manufacturer of metal die cast precision components, offering plenty of room for career growth. Compensation: $22.00-24.15/hour.

Must have at least 4 years of Active Duty U.S. military experience with a heavy maintenance background; troubleshooting hydraulics, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, motors, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years US Military Active Duty experience required (heavy maintenance background).
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulics, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, motors, and pneumatic systems.
• Must be able to frequently lift, carry, and move material up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the die is running properly; gather first off pieces following set-up and deliver to quality for inspection.
• Observe and check assigned casting/molding machine operations.
• Observe quality of products for defects such as excessive flash and surface finish.
• Lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
