Job summary

TEAM is seeking a Night Shift production operator to run die casting machines and produce quality parts to print, meeting customer expectations and requirements. The role supports a safe work environment and adherence to safety rules.

The position runs from 7:45pm to 6:15am, with duties including quality inspection, paperwork, and maintaining orderly areas through 5-S practices. Competitive benefits accompany full-time employment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience desired but not required.
  • Ability to use measuring instruments and detect defects.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately complete reports and all necessary paperwork for the jobs.
  • Responsible for correct full box quantities and job counts.
  • Utilize the 5-S principles to maintain an orderly, clean and safe work area.

  • Actively participates in CIP events to improve safety, quality, and efficiencies of our current processes and procedures.
  • Support and positively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Communicates with supervisor and co-workers in a professional manner.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Description

Night Shift-7:45pm-6:15am

Purpose: Run production die casting machines to produce quality parts to print to meet customer expectations and requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.Follow all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment tosafety program.
  • Ensure part quality is in accordance with inspection report
  • Accurately complete reports and all necessary paper work for the jobs
  • Responsible for correct full box quantities and job counts
  • Utilizes the 5-S principles (sort, set in order,shine, standardize, and sustain) to maintain an orderly, clean and safework area.
  • Ability to regularly meet or exceed efficiency requirements
  • Actively participates in CIP events to improve the safety, quality, and efficiencies of our current processes and procedures
  • Support and positivelycontribute to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Communicates with supervisor and co-workers in a professional manner
  • Will berequired to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to use measuring instruments, such as gage pins, scales, etc.
  • Ability to follow work instructions
  • Must be detail oriented, with the ability to recognize defects and non-conformities

Physical Demands

  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs, rarely lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand up to 100% of shift
  • Ability to do repetitive movements (i.e. bending, twisting, walking)
